In 2006 CSi introduced the i-Pal lease concept. The i-Pal is a compact Robot Palletising Cell that can be acquired under a CSi Financial Services lease or hire agreement.

Lease arrangements are tailored to the individual needs of the customer by taking into account the number of shifts per day the i-Pal will be in operation.  Generally the minimum period that the i-Pal can be leased for is 2 years.

The idea behind the i-Pal lease concept is simple - to make automated end-of-line palletising systems available to small and medium sized companies, without the need for large capital investments. i-Pal lease rates are lower than the wages normally paid to operators employed to hand palletise cases at the end of a production line.  Therefore, for every hour the i-Pal is in use, the more financially beneficial it is to those companies who choose i-Pal as their preferred method of end-of-line automation.

A large number of companies within Europe already have i-Pals on lease, taking advantage of this risk-free method of financing projects and at the same time, freeing up working capital to invest in other core activities.

In 2006 CSi received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan award for “European Product Innovation of the Year” for the unique i-Pal design in combination with the commercial i-Pal lease concept.
