Ivanhoe® strengthens palletising capability of  CSi
New business unit supplies quality  mediumend palletising systems

CSi industries has recently reached an agreement to acquire the technology, expertise and part of the company operations of the former Ridder Packaging Systems BV in Harderwijk, the  Netherlands. It mainly concerns the technical  knowledge and expertise of a number of proven  palletiser concepts. Eleven key persons are now employed by CSi industries. With this agreement it also means that the service for the already installed Ridder palletisers is secured for the future.

Ridder Packaging Systems has been a well respected player in the market for conventional layer (de-)palletisers for many decades. Worldwide more than 400 palletisers have been installed in  over 25 countries. The total installed base includes about 250 systems.

The new, stand alone operating business unit of CSi will market the machine concepts worldwide under the intriguing name of Ivanhoe®.  The machines include high and low feed palletisers, with unique features as their compact design and user friendly operating interface, enabling a high operational efficiency per square meter floor space.

The name Ivanhoe® reflects the  resolute character of this new business unit within the CSi group. The name represents a connection with the past, as Ridder is Dutch for  Knight,  and stands for its determination to become the largest supplier of cost effective medium end palletisers. Ivanhoe® palletisers are modular designed, making  short lead times possible with  an ideal price/performance ratio. The standard product portfolio includes product and pallet conveyors. The machines are specially designed for end of line packaging with small to medium capacity requirements. The complete machine range will have seven basic versions which can be adapted to the customer’s requirements.
