The CSi LoadmateŽ automated vehicle loading system is a patented product designed to withstand the most demanding applications in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Operating the LoadmateŽ could not be more straightforward. A complete vehicle load is assembled on the accumulation conveyor system. The vehicle driver then initiates loading by simply pressing a button on the operator control panel located on the conveyor close to the rear of the vehicle. Once activated the LoadmateŽ skates lift and drive the complete load forward into the waiting vehicle. The LoadmateŽ will load a 13.6 meter semi-trailer in less than four minutes.
The trailers are extremely easy to convert, as they are only fitted with simple steel channels in the floor that guide the skates as they drive the complete load into the trailer.
Characteristics
- Minimal adaptations to the trailer; only steel channels in the trailer. This means a minimum investment at the trailer side.
- Easy to install in (existing) trailers.
- While driving the load is on the trailer floor and not on the conveyor.
- Even a worthwhile investment if only automatic loading or -unloading is applicable.
- Good application for cold store vehicle loading, due to short loading time and no equipment in the trailer.
- The flat floor execution also allows either forklift truck loading or unloading.
Execution
The loadmateŽ system consists of 3 lifting skates to convey each row of pallets. The loadmateŽ will be mounted on the dock and can be moved into and out off the trailer. After reaching the end position the skates will be lowered and the load will either be deposit on the trailer floor.

- More used for larger shuttle distances because of low trailer investments
- Very useful for manual loading and fast unloading at busy distribution centers
- Because of the flat floor execution can also be used as a normal trailer
